Instructional Tempo (3-0-1-1): Lower your upper body slowly over 3 seconds, allowing the curvature of the ball to fully stretch your abdominals. Drive upward into a rigid contraction, holding firmly for 1 second at the top.
Rest Interval: 90 seconds between sets.
⚠️ Warnings & Watchouts
Maintain stable foot placement to prevent the instability ball from slipping out. Do not overextend past your comfort zone, as hyper-extension under fatigue can stress the lower back lumbar region.
"The stability ball permits hyperextension of the spinal column at the bottom, heavily stretching the muscle fibers to trigger mechanical tension for hypertrophy."
